Our History

Farm Manuals Fast was founded in 2009 by Tyler Finchum. Growing up on a family farm, Tyler experienced firsthand the frustration farmers have in finding manuals for their tractors and farm equipment. Recognizing how often traditional paper manuals were lost, damaged, or unavailable, he was inspired to create a digital solution. He launched Farm Manuals Fast to transform outdated, inaccessible manuals into a convenient, digital resource, ensuring farmers could quickly access the tools they need to keep their equipment running efficiently.

In the early years, progress was slow. Tyler worked to build a small library of digitized manuals while spreading the word to the farming community. Then, a breakthrough moment came when Farm Show Magazine featured an article about Farm Manuals Fast. This exposure brought a surge of new customers and marked a turning point for the business. Since then, the company has also been featured in publications such as The Des Moines Register, Iowa Now, and even The Christian Science Monitor.

What started as a small project has grown into a thriving global business. Farm Manuals Fast has provided digital manuals to over 100,000 farmers, mechanics, and equipment owners across more than 60 countries (on every continent except Antarctica). With an extensive collection of over 5,000 digital manuals, including brands like John Deere, International Harvester, and Massey Ferguson. The company has saved its customers thousands of hours in repair time and equipment maintenance.

Beyond providing manuals, Farm Manuals Fast is committed to giving back. Recognizing that access to critical resources can vary greatly across the globe, the company established the Farm Manuals Fast Foundation. Through this initiative, they donate free manuals to farmers in developing countries, empowering them to keep their machinery running efficiently and their livelihoods intact.
